Invites with Style from TEDxKids@TheHill
TEDxKids@TheHill is an innovative TEDx event on its own -- the 450-person audience will be made up of kids (ages 10-18), local Parliamentarians and other select adult visionaries -- and organizers are reaching out to the community to find creative ways to spread the word on their September event.
The TEDxKids@TheHill organizing team held workshops at schools in Ottowa, challenging students to imagine what the world would look like if kids ran it. Students were asked to create invitations to the TEDxKids@TheHill event using cardboard as the canvas, and hand-delivered these invites to the 413 members of the Canadian Senate and House of Commons who reside at 'The Hill' in Ottowa.
Continuing on their recurring theme of 'meaningful marketing' and support of the the utlization of re-useable materials, organizers asked that Parlmentarians returned the invites -- they would also be used as components in the TEDxKids@TheHill stage.
